A Note from Richard Caruso

Richard Caruso
Dear Caruso Music Customers,

There are some big changes taking place in our 83-year-old business. We want to share these with you and make it clear that Caruso Music will continue to provide the same high level of customer service that has allowed us to build loyal relationships with musicians all over the world.

To our loyal guitar customers: We're making some big improvements; we're refining our focus onto the pre-owned and vintage areas of fine fretted instruments. If you have a guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass or even professional brass or woodwinds,  please give us a call or email. We are extremely interested in purchasing or consigning for sale your musical instruments.

We're investing heavily into the piano business. We intend on becoming the epicenter of piano culture in southeastern Connecticut. If you havn't visited the store in some time please stop by, you'll be amazed by the depth of piano inventory. Everything from Steinway B's, Bosenedorfers, Schimmels and Yamaha grands to dozen and dozens of uprights and digital pianos from many of the finest names in the piano industry. We also own and operate a piano moving business. We move pianos of all shapes and size all over the country. That's right, if you need a piano moved please give us a call.

My brother Larry and I have had an amazing journey in the music industry. We were here for the arrival of the Vox Super Beatles, the Fender Rhodes, Shure Vocal Mastter and dozens of other timeless treasures.. We carried on our dad's tradition of selling Martin and Guild Guitars and I can't begin to tell you how many Strats and Les Pauls we bought, sold and traded. If I had a nickle for every guitar I've restrung, I might be living on an island in the Caribbean!

We are not getting out of the music business at all, it's too much fun. We're simply taking it in a new direction for us. Please feel free to stop in the store, call or email us. We are here.

Musically Yours,

Richard Caruso
